Funday Club: Sunday 0900 onwards
At Brechin Cathedral, we believe that Sunday should be a fun day. The Funday Club meets on a Sunday morning beginning with the Breakfast Club for those ages nine and over. We share a good hearty breakfast together - cooked for us by friendly volunteers - before we chat together about life and faith.
Unfortunately at this moment of time our numbers for the Funday Club are low which means that we can't fulfill or schedule of events. We are actively encouraging young families to attend family service on the first Sunday of the month with a view to the children coming on a regular basis.
Juniors and Creche begin by gathering for the morning service, which includes a talk with the children at the beginning of worship. Following this, the children make their way to the hall for fun, games, crafts and activities focused around the theme of the day's service. This means that young and old alike have been thinking about God's word together, allowing for sharing together, upon the return home.
Young people and children have a special place in Cathedral life. Our fellowship would not be the same without their presence and input. The first Sunday of every month is devoted to all age family worship - a shorter service that is much more activity focussed, with an appeal to the young and young at heart. As always, all are welcome.
