Brechin Cathedral is a living community of people, young and old, who continue in a long tradition of Christian worship in the city.
Sundays are only a part of the story, however; Cathedral life is busy everyday of the week, with different activities and opportunities to learn on offer. These vary from 'Smiley Tots' Parent and Toddlers, Brechin Floral Art Club, the Guild, local history classes, Weight Watchers, through to exercise classes for the elderly.
The Cathedral has a lively social life, with events organised throughout the year to offer opportunities for fellowship together and to strengthen relationships.
Some of our regular events are: a Burn's Supper (in January); an Easter charity lunch; a daffodill tea; a car treasure hunt; a harvest home supper and dance; a ceilidh at Stracathro; and to finish the year, a live music concert at a packed out City Hall.
Other community groups and interests meet in the Cathedral Hall, as we provide a focus for community life. Please check out what is on and see if it might interest you at our Cathedral Hall page.
